About

Economics postgraduate from Tribhuvan University, now studying Conflict, Peace and Development Studies. My master's thesis looked at women's economic empowerment through microfinance, using primary data from women borrowers in Kanakai Municipality.

Before research I spent six years in office management and taught economics at secondary and campus level. I am certified in gender-responsive monitoring and evaluation.

A case study of Nirdhan Utthan Laghubitta in Kanakai Municipality. I collected primary data from women borrowers to see where microfinance improved income and decision making, and where the gains stayed limited.
